Breaking New Ground.
Whether it's building robots in space, or finding novel solutions to fight against COVID, I love breaking new ground in my work! I am undeterred when encountering problems that have no clear solution, and take it as a opportunity to dig deep into a subject. Due to this, I often function as a subject matter expert for a variety of topics. Other times, I function as a lead, drawing from my broad knowledge and soft skills, and find myself naturally serving as a mentor for newer engineers.
I enjoy bringing ambitious ideas from ground level to scale. I first found my love for this environment when I lead research for an autonomous rover for Northrop Grumman. This led to me co-founding a non-profit that created research published by the United Nations World Health Organization. Today, I am working on a NASA mission with the goal accomplishing the first satellite refueling in space!
Maybe it's the creative in me speaking, but I love making an impact, and seeing how far we can go together as a team. I see a certain beauty when a project and team come together to create something bigger - like how instruments and musicians align to create a symphony. Now, what can we make together?
Feel free to connect, even if it's just to chat, or if you need guidance! I'm always open to meeting new people or learning about something new.
